What kind of payment methods do you accept?

We accept Master Card, VISA, American Express and Discover credit card for US and Canada customers. For customers from other countries we accept wire transfer only. International customers (except Canada) will receive detailed wire transfer instructions after placing order. We will ship the products immediately after bank confirmation of receiving the wire transfer payment. To open a Net 30 credit account with us please download the application form here and send it to Accounting@Altecdatacom.com

What shipping methods do you offer?

For US domestic customers we offer FedEx Standard Overnight (delivery by 3:00pm the next day), FedEx 2Day (Delivery by 4:30pm the 3rd business day), FedEx Ground (1-5 business days based on destination) and FedEx Home Delivery (1-5 business days based on destination). We also offer UPS Next Day, UPS 2nd Day, UPS 3Day Select and UPS Ground services. For international customers(including Canada), shipping cost can not be calculated in real time so please specify your shipping method in the "Special Order Instructions" form on the "Select Shipping & Payment Method" screen. We will charge the actual shipping fee after your products are shipped.

How do I contact you for a return or replacement?

We offer phone call services for product return and replacement authorization. Every return must be authorized first. We can not accept returns without a RMA number. How do I track my order status?

We offer up to the minute order status update via e-mail Orders@Altecdatacom.com. You can also track your order status by visiting the order tracking page. By entering your order number and email address you'll be able to view up to date information about the status of your order.

How do I change my account information such as username, password, shipping and billing address?

You are given the opportunity to add or change this information when you check out, or you may go straight to the Customer Accounts where you can either log in or create a new account.

How do you keep my contact information secure?

We take our customers' information seriously and keep it confidential. We never share this information with any third party.

In what state do you collect sales tax?

We collect sales tax for orders shipped to New York. For sales tax exempt customers please fax or email us your reseller certificate or other tax exempt documentation when setting up your account.

What are your product warranty policy?

All products distributed by Altec Datacom carry the warranty of the respective manufacturer. Under no circumstances will Altec Datacom be responsible for any damage beyond the replacement cost of the defective merchandise.  Cable assemblies carry a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
